Scallop
$1809" x 12", Acrylic and gouache on panel (2 panels)
(2 separate panels)
Artist: Christina Turner
Inspired by: Dark Dreams by Nyla from Warner Girls Leadership Academy
Suggested Value: $175.00
"I was drawn to Nyla's poem because she also learns from dreams, especially when something in the dream feels distinctly on way, and then that feeling shifts. I think it's a tremendous insight to recognize that our fears and uncomfortable situations can shift with our perception and that close observation changes the way we see the world around us."
Christina Turner is an artist and writer living and working in Ohio. Her abstract paintings explore color, structure, and relationships between forms. When Christina isn't drawing, she's reading. She works at a public library because there's no place she'd rather be, except maybe out on a trail or home with her cats.
